THE ROLE:

Your job will be to liaise with clients and estimate jobs. Ordering of materials and issuing workshop instructions on contract award.

The ideal candidate will have the following skillset:-

• Preferably from a fabrication background.
• Experience in pressure vessel and or pipework manufacture
• Experience in Structural Steelwork manufacture
• Some knowledge of Welding Procedures and Materials
• Good knowledge of fabrication and machining workshop practices.
• The right candidate will be eager to learn, efficient and accurate and fit in well with the existing team.
• It will be ideally a mixed role and for someone to also work as the Welding Co-ordinator (not full time)

THE CANDIDATE:

A minimum of 3 years of estimating or quantity surveying experience

Be competent in reading from engineers' and architects' drawings, and a background in fabrication would be advantageous.
