A leading Civil UK Contractor is seeking an Estimator to join their team, based in either Birmingham or London. The ideal candidate will establish relationships, coordinate site visits, and contribute to project negotiations, focusing on HS2 and civil projects. Qualifications

• Experience as an Estimator or similar.
• Experience on HS2 and/or Civils projects.

Responsibilities

Job description

I am currently seeking a Estimator for work with a Civil UK Contractor.Role can be based out of their Birmingham or London Office.This role would be a position for the right candidate.

This role would include but not be limited to the below

• Establishing new and building existing relationships with clients / contractors / suppliers
• Coordinate site visits with team members to understand project logistics / constraints
• Attending meetings with clients to discuss projects / tenders & negotiate contract sums
• Inputting cost data from the BIM model
• Validating unit rates and construction methodology
• Offering VE options with tender
• Presentation of tenders for adjudication with senior management team

The Ideal Candidate will have

• Experience as an Estimator or similar
• Experience on HS2 and/or Civils projects
• Degree within Estimating, Quantity Surveying or similar
