Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Sales Estimator or Estimator within a manufacturing environment.
  • Essential estimating experience.
  • Ability to independently manage workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and communicate customer requirements clearly to relevant departments.
  • Manage and review customer quotations and perform contract reviews to ensure accurate pricing.
  • Input precise pricing and data into internal databases as an Estimator.
  • Serve as the point of contact for customer inquiries related to Technical and Sales quotations.
  • Coordinate appointments on behalf of the Commercial Manager.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and provide accurate lead times.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required.
  • Deliver professional and customer-focused service to clients.

Estimator - TEMP TO PERM

Full Time – Temporary to Permanent

Location: Leicester

Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

Our client is a reputable engineering company with over 40 years of experience and a strong presence across the UK. Due to growth, they are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Sales Estimator to join their dynamic team in Leicester on a Temporary to Permanent basis.

Estimator Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and communicate customer requirements clearly to relevant departments.
  2. Manage and review customer quotations and perform contract reviews to ensure accurate pricing.
  3. Input precise pricing and data into internal databases as an Estimator.
  4. Serve as the point of contact for customer inquiries related to Technical and Sales quotations.
  5. Coordinate appointments on behalf of the Commercial Manager and as an Estimator.
  6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure capacity and capability are aligned, and provide accurate lead times.
  7. Perform ad hoc duties as required.
  8. Deliver professional and customer-focused service to clients.
