Qualifications

  • Experience in contract matters such as delays and extensions.

My client has developed an extensive portfolio of successfully delivered projects and they have a proven reputation of delivering high quality and exceptional projects.

In this role, as the Estimator you will:

  • Support the generation of profitable tenders for authorization and submission
  • To estimate the costs of projects to meet or exceed customers' requirements
  • To determine contractual, financial, technical and operational risks
  • Find opportunities to minimize risk and maximize gross profit
  • To support the fulfilment of the pipeline of contracts safely, on time, and to the required quality while maximizing gross profit

For the role, they are looking for:

  • Experience working for a Tier 1 or 2 contractor as the Estimator
  • Be contractually astute (Contracts are usually JCT and the successful applicant must have a complete understanding of how the contract works)
  • Have a sound knowledge and be experienced in payment terms, payment notices, contract protocol and matters associated with delays and extensions of time
  • Be skilled in subcontract procurement and understand the importance of this process
  • Have a very strong teamwork ethos
