Job summary

Hunter Selection are seeking an experienced Estimator in Caerphilly to join a renowned manufacturer of special-purpose equipment. The role focuses on accurate estimating, site surveys, and value engineering to deliver competitive bids.

You will take-off drawings, negotiate with customers, and coordinate with purchasing and suppliers to keep prices up to date. A strong team approach and cost-review capabilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of Estimating
• Ideal candidate will have previous experience working with large contractors
• Experience of construction processes (instructions, variations, mobilisation costs and retentions)
• Ability to take off drawings
• Experience of working within a team to ensure a full handover from Sales to Contracts
• Ability to carry out costing reviews upon completion of a job

Role & Responsibilities:

• Estimating
• Site Surveys
• Offering Value-engineering to customers
