ESTIMATOR WITH RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR A PERMANENT POSITION IN BIRMINGHAM

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Cost Planner looking to showcase their skills and knowledge working with a reputable residential developer. This role would be ideal for someone aiming to progress their career into an Estimator position.

Location: Birmingham

Package: £50,000 – £60,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and review cost estimates, review contractor proposals, and participate in negotiations with contractors
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs
• Prepare full project estimates from conceptual design through 100% design, and prepare written basis of estimate reports associated with the estimates
• Prepare full tender analysis
• Track market conditions and costs
• Cost planning and estimating
• Develop high-level budget/cost plans
• Organise and manage the cost estimating database
• Oversee estimating functions

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with residential developers is advantageous
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Adept at managing and delivering against challenging and competing timescales
