Job summary

ETS Technical in Swansea, South Wales, seeks an Estimating Engineer to manage enquiries, scope requirements, specify equipment and liaise with suppliers. You will compile costing files, prepare quotations and attend customer meetings. Training on processes and products will be provided to the right candidate.

The role involves understanding engineering drawings, controlling costings and delivering accurate quotations to support high-regulation process industries. Commutable to Swansea preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in process/chemical/mechanical/industrial engineering is advantageous.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with documentation competency.
• Proficient in Sage Accounts and MS Office Suite, especially spreadsheets.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting technical information clearly.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience multitasking, high organization and self-motivation.
• Meticulous attention to detail and methodical approach to enquiries.
• Experience in equipment manufacturing and costing of process equipment is a plus.
