ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an Estimating Director to lead our estimating department within a growing business. The role involves overseeing the estimation of RC frames, groundwork, and basement packages, and working closely with the managing director to support business development and project securing. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pricing within the UK specialist subcontractor sector, experience managing or heading a team, and the confidence to operate at a senior level within a contractor turning over circa £200m per annum.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Leading and developing the estimating team.
  2. Preparing and reviewing tenders for large-scale projects.
  3. Collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure competitive and accurate bids.
