A construction firm based in Chandlers Ford is looking for an Estimating Assistant. This role offers comprehensive training, support for further education, and involves administrative tasks to assist the estimating team. We are seeking an Estimating Assistant to join an established South Coast business at their head office in Chandlers Ford.
The company has a turnover exceeding GBP 25 million, targeting schemes between GBP 1 million and GBP 8 million. Their client base is diverse, including repeat negotiated work, regional and local frameworks, and competitive tenders for targeted projects.
Typical projects involve NHS and care sectors, schools (both new builds and refurbishments), industrial and commercial developments, as well as retail and leisure schemes.
You will receive a comprehensive training and development plan to maximize your talents and potential. From day one, you will be actively involved alongside the estimating manager and the wider preconstruction team.
Your duties will include supporting the estimating team with administrative tasks such as filing, correspondence, answering calls, data compilation, uploading quotes, and liaising with suppliers and subcontractors.
The role offers a competitive package, including a car allowance, benefits, and an annual bonus scheme. The company is open to funding or supporting further education, such as relevant degrees or RICS accreditation.
