About the Role - Whittaker Engineering Ltd have fantastic opportunities for Estimating and Production Engineers to join our team. The right candidates must have experience in either a fabrication or machining environment and preferably have experience in estimating/pricing both large and small scale projects, as the estimating team must cost jobs based on labour, material and time requirements. The role covers a wide variety of work consisting of jobs for offshore platforms, FPSO'S, drilling rigs, subsea tooling and onshore jobs throughout the energy sector

Responsibilities

• Liaising with clients
• Adhering to the QA system
• Estimating and producing quotations to customer requirements
• Sourcing of material and equipment costs
• Pricing and costing of jobs based on labour, material and time requirements
• To take ownership of jobs to see the production process through to delivery, keeping clients updated on their job progress when required
• Providing information on current/upcoming jobs by attending weekly production meeting
• Pricing/costing of project work
• Ensure client requirements are met

Qualifications -

• Previous experience in estimating/pricing both large and small scale projects.
• Must have experience in a fabrication or machining environment
