A community interest company based in Windsor seeks a part-time Esteem Project Support Worker to support the self-esteem and social skill development of young people aged 8-18. The role involves leading engaging activities in group settings for varying age groups during the evenings. We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic individual with a strong passion for supporting the self‑esteem and social skill development of young people, along with an ability to engage with this age group. The post holder will lead on delivering some of the activities within sessions utilising their own sporting, artistic, culinary, or musical talents to engage positively and effectively with young people. The Esteem sessions run Tuesday at Windsor Family Hub and Wednesday at Riverside Family Hub, Maidenhead between 4.30 pm – 8.00 pm. The sessions are split into 2 age groups with 8–13 yrs session first followed by a 13–18 yrs session. The total working hours would be 4 pm – 9 pm each evening.
We would consider applicants who are able to commit to one evening a week (Tuesdays or Wednesdays) and those who could commit to both evenings.
This post will be based in our Family Hub Service which supports children, young people and families who need help through 1‑1 and group work. The key aspects we are looking for in the post holder are:
