Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies is seeking an Assistant Counter Manager in Hedge End, United Kingdom, to lead a team of Sales Associates and support the Store Manager in driving sales, service excellence and smooth retail operations.

Ideal candidates will have proven supervisory experience in cosmetics retail, a passion for coaching others, and strong knowledge of inventory management, cash handling and POS software. Must be able to work retail hours including weekends and events.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a retail environment.
• Proven coaching/mentoring to drive sales and service.
• Retail operations exposure including inventory, cash handling and POS.
• Experience with cash reconciliation and end-of-day processes.
• Proficiency with common POS software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the counter team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales and service targets.
• Manage daily store operations, including cash handling and stock control.
• Ensure accurate till reconciliations and compliance with procedures.
• Coordinate with management on scheduling and events.
