Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Estée Lauder Companies Supply Chain function for a Commercial Region Senior Supply Planner for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The Supply Planner will be responsible for inventory management across a Brand/cluster of Brands for the UK Region. The position will drive inventory optimization while maintaining service delivery and enhancing decisions by improving supply chain analytics and reporting. This involves utilizing systems and driving process enhancements, including SAP, o9, Noodle AI, and Power BI, to provide a service quality that supports the brand's consumer promise. The role will require building compelling narratives to explain and improve business performance, while developing and maintaining collaborative relationships that support and deliver a best-in-class Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
WHAT THIS ROLE DOES:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively collaborates with Demand Planning, Global Supply Chain, Brands, and Finance to generate balanced supply plans based on objectives and guidelines via the IBP process.
- Manages and continuously improves the plan and delivery of finished goods supply from manufacturing locations to the UKDC.
- Achieves Customer Service / Fill Rates and Days of Supply Inventory targets using Noodle AI and o9, regularly reviewing with COE teams to optimize regional supply planning parameters and interface with other regions to support UK service levels and retailer objectives.
- Defines tactics and action plans to achieve regional inventory and service level KPIs, conducting monthly inventory reviews with commercial teams to optimize inventory and prevent excess. Publishes regional reports and initiatives to manage excess and surplus inventory levels.
- Develops strategic regional allocations, supply commitments, and plans based on o9 MPS / DRP solutions.
- Coordinates monthly launch and event planning, proactively managing and communicating risks.
- Manages planning and execution of the Holiday program.
- Supports process integration with Demand Planning, Retail Supply Chain, and Distribution & Logistics functions.
- Drives core elements of the IBP process evolution through brand partnership and collaboration.
- Escalates and communicates issues clearly, developing and implementing resolutions.
- Manages and executes broader supply chain projects.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including Power BI
- Attention to detail and high accuracy
- Experience managing a team
- Advanced skills in Excel and SAP BI
- Advanced competency in SAP SCM/ECC & APO systems
- Ability to interpret data and translate into insights and actions
- Confidence liaising with senior management and stakeholders, making recommendations
- Proven project management skills
- Self-directed, proactive, and operates under minimal supervision
