Salary: FC5 £28,175.91 - £30,691.29

Working Pattern: 36 hours per week (Monday to Friday part-time or flexible arrangements may be considered)

Job Details

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Estates Technician with GIS, AutoCAD, or similar, drawing experience to join our Property Services Estates team. The team are responsible for the council's non-housing property portfolio of over 1400 assets.

The Estates Technician will work as a key member of the Estates team, carrying out a range of activities to support the operation of the estates function, including property inspection, measurement, plan production, resolution of boundary issues and associated administration.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have a property or estates background with knowledge and/or experience of:

  • GIS systems.
  • Preparing CAD plans (2D).
  • Managing data.
  • Interpreting property titles/legal documents.

Detail-Oriented: Necessary for accurate data management, administration and plan production.

Problem-Solving Skills: To identify and address issues related to council properties.

Teamwork and Communication: Working effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Include

GIS and CAD Work: Assisting in the preparation of plans, maps, and data using GIS and AutoCAD software.

Data Management: Recording, reviewing, and maintaining data in GIS systems.

Site Work: Inspecting, measuring, and surveying sites and buildings.

Estate And Property Support: Assisting with tasks related to land ownership, servitudes & wayleaves, leases, and acquisitions/disposals.
