A leading company is seeking a qualified individual to join their estates team as an Authorised Person. The role involves supervising staff and ensuring compliance with engineering services. Taskmaster Resources is recruiting on behalf of our clientfor this exciting opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary estates team. The post holder will provide direct supervision and management of both directly employed staff and specialist contractors.
The successful candidate will be expected to undertake the role of Authorised Person (AP) for a range of engineering services, as defined within Health Technical Memorandum (HTM) 00. This will be determined by the Compliance and Mechanical Services Manager and Head of Operational Estates, based on the requirements of the service. The role also involves key operational responsibilities for ensuring that engineering services comply with all current statutory, mandatory, and best practice requirements, in full alignment with HTM guidance.
Applicants must have substantial supervisory experience or be willing to undertake further training to ensure efficient and effective management of external contractors and staff. Responsibilities will include overseeing staff timekeeping, completion of work requests, resource and materials management, absence monitoring, appraisals, team briefs, toolbox talks, health and safety, and other key service deliverables.
