Job description

Yeovil College is searching for an enthusiastic, highly personable, and proactive Estates Project Co-ordinator to join our team and help lead our groundbreaking Big Build project! In this role, you will be a key member of the Big Build project, working closely with the Project Team to oversee the replacement of core teaching blocks on campus. You will manage contractor coordination, ensure the smooth delivery of materials and equipment, and assist with planning and executing moves. Your contributions will directly impact the successful delivery of a project that will transform the learning environment for current and future generations. Additionally, you will support the Head of Infrastructure with planning and completing various college projects, ensuring alignment with the Big Build initiative. Your role will be essential in minimising disruptions to daily operations while ensuring the project runs on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. By collaborating with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders, you will ensure smooth progress across all project phases. This position provides a unique opportunity to drive the long-term success of Yeovil College, creating a modern campus that will benefit students for generations to come.

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

• Excellent attention to detail along with the ability to meet changing demands

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships

• Skilled in clearly conveying and effectively receiving information.

• Grade 4 qualification in English and Maths, or equivalent.

• A highly collaborative team player.
