Job summary

The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Senior Operational Engineer (Internal Only) to manage day-to-day estate maintenance across Trust sites, leading DEL or contractor teams within budgets and statutory requirements.

You will support the Estates Operations Manager, implement the Estates Operational Strategy, and ensure high-quality building fabric, environmental maintenance and reactive services.

Qualifications

• Experience in Estate management and maintenance processes.
• Knowledge of HBNs, HTMs and related legislation.
• Ability to manage budgets and work to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational requirements of the Estates service.
• Ensure compliance with statutory/mandatory legislation.
• Work with DEL and contractors to deliver capital projects.
