Job description

A local authority client of mine is seeking an experienced Interim Manager to lead the Estates Management Team on a 3-month rolling contract. You'll manage a team of 4 and play a key role in driving strategic estates functions, maximising asset value, and ensuring efficient operational delivery.



Contract Details:
  • Interim Estates Team Manager
  • £475 per day (Inside IR35)
  • 3-month rolling contract
  • Hybrid working: 2-3 days/week in office, remainder remote
  • Start ASAP

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage strategic and commercial estate functions, ensuring effective use of Council assets.
  • Oversee a diverse property portfolio (retail, commercial, industrial) generating over £2 million in rental income.
  • Deliver robust estate management strategies, valuations, and risk controls.
  • Play a key role in senior leadership and budget management.
  • Provide expert property advice, manage contracts, and identify income/disposal opportunities.
