A healthcare organization in Huddersfield is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for various maintenance tasks including mechanical and electrical repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and be able to work flexibly within a team. Responsibilities include routine checks, defect reporting, and assisting craftspeople. This role requires a proactive approach and the ability to manage various maintenance challenges.
A 37.5-hour, 5-day week is worked, however, it will be the responsibility of the post holder to work any essential overtime as may be required to fulfill the needs of the role.
The post holder will carry out necessary maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and continuous operation of engineering services and the building plant located in the Trust.
The post holder will undertake specific maintenance tasks and will carry out maintenance and repair across a wide range of plant and equipment. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.

Planned maintenance, new work, and repair of Mechanical, Electrical Plant, Equipment, and services, along with minor building fabric repairs.
