Job summary

Care Concern Group is seeking an experienced Estates Manager to support the growth of our care home portfolio across Glasgow and Scotland. The role is home based with national travel and overnight stays as required, reporting to the Group Estates Manager.

You will lead estates management, ensure compliance, manage planned maintenance and capital projects, and work with operational teams and suppliers to keep our buildings safe, compliant and fit for purpose.

Qualifications

• Experience managing estates across multi-site environments.
• Experience in regulated environments such as care, healthcare, education or housing.
• Strong understanding of building maintenance, compliance and asset management.
• Experience managing contractors and service providers.
• Knowledge of CAFM systems including PPM, compliance monitoring and reporting.
• Understanding of Mechanical & Electrical building services.
• Experience delivering refurbishment or capital projects.
• MRICS / MCIOB / IWFM or equivalent desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of care homes, providing estates guidance to Home Managers and operational teams.
• Act as estates lead for maintenance, compliance and building-related risks.
• Provide professional advice on building condition and maintenance needs.
• Support mobilisation of newly acquired homes with estates information and compliance records.
• Monitor statutory compliance including Fire Safety, Water Hygiene, Asbestos, Electrical and Gas Safety.
• Review compliance reports and prioritise actions for timely completion.
• Oversee planned maintenance and capital projects up to £2m.
