Job summary

The Royal Ballet and Opera is seeking an engineering professional to lead our in-house mechanical and electrical engineers, coordinating with specialist contractors delivering work for RBO. This permanent, full-time role is based in Covent Garden, London, with a 40-hour week and some flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Engineering Apprenticeship/HNC Level Engineer or proven competence.
• Knowledge of working practices in large public buildings/listed buildings.
• Knowledge of statutory compliance within a large estate.
• Experience maintaining historic/heritage buildings.
• Strong budgeting Understanding and control.
• Project management skills with track record delivering on budget and deadlines.
