Working arrangements: Full time (nominal 35 hours)

Evenings and weekend working, as per business needs
Participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota is required
Hybrid working (minimum of two days per week onsite, subject to line manager discretion after initial training/induction)

The Role and Department
As Estates Engineer (Mechanical Building Services), you will provide effective, efficient, and customer-focused mechanical building services engineering maintenance and minor works to the University. You will be part of the Estates Operations, Engineering Maintenance Team, reporting to the Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
You will manage maintenance programmes, including compliance assurance and statutory inspections of Mechanical building services assets across the University's estate, and undertake planned and reactive maintenance as per the programmes.
The Estates and Facilities Directorate manages, maintains, and develops the infrastructure and building fabric of the University campuses.
