Job Description:

Are you a practical, detail-focused professional who takes pride in keeping buildings safe, compliant, and running smoothly? This is your chance to join a skilled Estates team as an Estates Compliance Technician in a prestigious, historic environment where no two days are the same.

The Role
As an Estates Compliance Technician, you'll carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and routine inspections on systems including emergency lighting, fire alarms, smoke detectors, evacuation alarms, ventilation units, and water systems. Using a tablet-based CAFM system, you'll log and update jobs, complete minor remedial works where possible, and escalate any issues promptly. You'll also support the wider maintenance team and contractors, working safely and in line with risk assessments.

What We're Looking For
To succeed as an Estates Compliance Technician, you'll ideally have experience maintaining large or varied estates, with knowledge of CAFM systems being an advantage. You should be self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage your workload effectively, with strong attention to detail—especially when working with heritage buildings. Good communication skills, basic IT skills, and a team-oriented approach are key.

Why You'll Love This Role
Alongside a competitive salary of £27,000, you'll enjoy:

  • Defined contribution pension with up to 10% employer match.
  • 50% contribution to private health insurance.
  • Free term-time lunches and sports centre membership (£25 joining fee).
  • 75% school fee discount for staff children (day places).
  • Retail, gym, cinema, and restaurant discounts, Cycle to Work scheme, EAP, and occupational health support.

If you have the skills and attitude to thrive as an Estates Compliance Technician, we'd love to hear from you. Apply now and take the next step in your career.
