Job summary

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Estates professional to lead the delivery of estates compliance management for all related works and services. The role involves coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners while driving adherence to compliance policies and national targets.

The post requires effective communication, strong liaison skills, and the ability to manage contractors on site, inductions, and day-to-day planning within an NHS estates environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate to stakeholders at all levels, internal and externally.
• Consult effectively as part of the decision-making process.
• Provide complex and sensitive information to large groups of staff about closures of and changes to services that affect those staff.
• Provide monthly updates to Head of Estates and Associate Director of Estates using a reporting dashboard.
• Lead on the delivery of estates compliance management for all estates related works and services.
• Manage contractors on site including site inductions and day-to-day liaison/planning.
• Undertake research to inform the Trust's engineering strategy to move towards best-in-class delivery against National targets.
• Promote behavioural change to improve the Trust's sustainability performance.
• Responsible for the Estates Compliance Policy.

Managing the provision of Authorising Engineers (AE) for all Estates related disciplines.Manage contractors on site including site induction and day to day liaisons/ planning To undertake research in all aspects of the Trust engineering strategy to ensure the Trust moves towards a best-in-class delivery against National targets.To promote behavioural change to improve the overall Trust sustainability performance. Responsible for the Estates Compliance Policy.
