Tameside Hospital is seeking an Estates Building Operations Manager (Band 7) on a fixed-term 15‑month contract to lead day-to-day building maintenance across the Trust estate, ensuring safety, compliance and fit-for-purpose facilities.
Reporting to the Head of Estates, you will oversee maintenance projects, manage budgets, provide specialist technical advice on compliance and HTMs/HBNs, and contribute to the Estates Strategy and Capital Programme.
Estates Building Operations Manager - Band 7 Fixed term contract 15 months
The Estates Building Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to‑day management of building maintenance services across the Trust estate, ensuring that buildings are safe, compliant, and fit for purpose. Reporting to the Head of Estates, the post holder will provide specialist technical advice, oversee maintenance and improvement projects, manage operational teams and budgets, and ensure compliance with statutory and NHS estate requirements. The role also supports the delivery of the Trust's Estates Strategy and Capital Programme and participates in the Estates Managers On‑Call rota.
