• Apprenticeship in relevant core trade with a minimum of a City and Guilds with advanced craft certificate or BTEC, ONC in relevant building Maintenance Trade.

Experience

Essential criteria

• Minimum 3 years experience in general building maintenance, outside core trade of Painting/Decorating, carpentry, joinery.
• Good understanding of the relationship of other craftsmen’s work to their own.
• Experience of maintenance carpentry and building in a range of settings.

Desirable criteria

• Minimum 5 years experience working in a complex building maintenance environment.
