Job summary

Norse Group LTD is seeking an Associate Surveyor (Estates) based in Norwich to join the Estates division. The role involves managing property portfolios, delivering valuation and estate management advice, and contributing to business development within a flexible, 37-hour week.

Key requirements include Chartered RICS membership, a Bachelor’s degree in estates-related discipline, and Registered Valuer status, with extensive relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Chartered membership with RICS and relevant estates qualifications.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an Estates related discipline.
• Registered Valuer registration and sector experience.
• Extensive experience in a similar Estates role.
• Strong knowledge of valuation methods and estates management principles.

Responsibilities

• Support Estates Director in managing and leading a team of property professionals.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to Estates financial management, including fee forecasting and resource planning.
• Provide day-to-day professional Valuation and Estates Management advice (property, land, development, landlord & tenant, acquisitions, CPO).
• Undertake general practice work in line with RICS standards and applicable legislation.
• Support business development activities, proposals, bids, client presentations.
• Achieve fee targets and contribute to the business plan objectives.
• Carry out other duties commensurate with grade and promote continuous improvement.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in an Estates related discipline

Professional Chartered membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors

Registered Valuer registration
