An opportunity has arisen for a reliable and motivated Estates Assistant to join our Estates team. They will build strong, positive working relationships with a supportive and collaborative team and professional services that share the goal of providing a meaningful educational experience.

They will have excellent organisational and time-management skills and can prioritise work effectively to meet objectives and deadlines. They will be comfortable with and proactively adapt to rapid changes in educational trends within the sector. They will be able to plan and prioritise their work schedule to achieve objectives and be happy to be part of a close-knit team with shared goals.

Job Overview

Demonstrating a high standard of dedication, the ideal candidate will help to maintain the College’s high standards of repair, maintenance and cleanliness of the College’s overall estates. The Estates Assistant role is for someone flexible who enjoys being in a busy and varied role. They will ensure the provision of a safe learning/working environment for staff, students, and visitors by maintaining a visible presence on site, challenging unknown persons, and maintaining safe access and egress of all College buildings. The role will require a degree of flexibility, with work taking place across the three College campuses according to each campus’s needs. Working hours to be discussed during the interview.

All staff have a responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
