Oxygen Conservation Limited is seeking an Estate Manager for Siblyback, near Liskeard, Cornwall. You will oversee day-to-day estate operations, lead woodland creation and nature recovery, manage budgets and contractors, and maintain high safety and quality standards on a remote, rural estate.

The role requires strong land management and conservation experience, with a bias toward restoration and practical problem-solving.

Formación

• Land management and conservation expertise gained through education or hands-on experience.
• Experience of woodland creation or habitat restoration is a bonus.
• A conservation-first mindset with ability to explain why it matters.

Responsabilidades

• Estate Management: Lead on health and safety, land management, property, ecotourism and renewable energy on site.
• Nature Recovery Delivery: Lead woodland creation, BNG habitat creation and long-term management, wetland and stream restoration, including invasive species control.
• Project and Budget Management: Run conservation and property works programmes end to end, managing budgets, grants and contractors from tender to sign-off.
• Property and Infrastructure: Keep buildings, boundaries and infrastructure in good order and support projects to repurpose farm buildings.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Maintain habitat monitoring, BNG obligations and protected species data; provide regular estate updates.
• Community and Stakeholders: Build partnerships with neighbours, tenants, regulators, and the local community.
• Working Together: Collaborate with estates, natural capital and central teams as priorities shift.
• Health and Safety: Plan and oversee safe working, risk assessments, contractor safety, lone working and fire management.
