Job description

Sanctuary provides in-house repairs and maintenance services for an extensive portfolio of properties across Sanctuary organisations. Based in Salisbury – Covering Salisbury, Bournemouth, Portsmouth and other sites across Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset and Somerset

£25,459 - £26,799 per year

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 16:30pm

We have an opportunity for an Estate Technician to join our well-established Estate Services team, based in Salisbury. You will be part of a small team, primarily lone working.

The role of Estate Technician will include:

  • General cleaning of communal areas
  • Completing daily work records and maintaining cleaning materials stock levels
  • Ensuring tools and equipment are kept in a useable condition
  • Working with customers to resolve issues and improve services
  • Providing accurate information and updates on the progress of allocated work
  • Carrying out some compliance testing

Skills and experiences:

  • Working knowledge and experience of undertaking caretaking and general cleaning
  • Some experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
  • Recent experience in interpreting written instructions and maintaining simple written records
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK manual driving licence
