Job description

Estate Technician

Salisbury – Covering Salisbury, Bournemouth, Portsmouth, and other sites across Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, and Somerset

£25,459 - £26,799 per year

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

We have an opportunity for an Estate Technician to join our well-established Estate Services team, based in Salisbury. You will be part of a small team, primarily working alone, on the clearing and cleaning of empty properties on our sheltered and general needs services, as well as completing ad-hoc duties such as fly-tipping removal and gutter cleaning.

The role of Estate Technician includes:

  • General cleaning and clearing of void properties
  • Completing ad-hoc work orders, including gutter cleaning and fly-tipping removal from our schemes
  • Maintaining daily work records and stock levels
  • Ensuring tools and equipment are kept in good condition
  • Working with customers to resolve issues and improve services
  • Providing accurate updates on the progress of assigned tasks

Skills and experience:

  • Experience in grounds maintenance, caretaking, general cleaning, and basic repairs
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • Experience in interpreting written instructions and maintaining simple records
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills
  • Valid UK manual driving license, as driving company vehicles is involved
