Role Purpose

The Council aims to deliver the best outcomes for its communities. The role reports to the CRE Caretaker Team Leader and involves maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and repair of housing estates, specifically in Kingston. The team handles block cleaning, deep cleaning, graffiti removal, minor repairs, and estate issues.

Key Activities
  • Work with managers and colleagues to define outcomes, set targets, and monitor performance.
  • Support operational plans to optimize resource use.
  • Build strong internal and external partnerships for effective service delivery.
  • Engage with residents to gather and respond to feedback.
  • Utilize modern technology, including smartphones, to improve work practices and customer service.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with health and safety standards, including COSHH.
  • Manage assets such as equipment and vehicles responsibly.
  • Embed principles of equality, diversity, and fairness in all activities.
