Job summary

Langdale Hotel and Spa in Ambleside is seeking an Estate Porter to support the Housekeeping team across the estate, rooms, lodges and public areas. The role is on-site, 39 hours per week, with live-in accommodation possible for exceptional candidates.

You will manage linen distribution and stock, assist with housekeeping duties and turndown, maintain presentation and guest facilities, and help ensure safety and compliance across the estate.

Qualifications

• Takes pride in exceptionally high standards of cleanliness, organisation and presentation.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling and a varied workload.
• Friendly, approachable and committed to delivering excellent guest service.

Responsibilities

• Linen distribution, collection and storage across the Estate.
• Support housekeeping and accommodation servicing and cleaning activities.
• Deliver and set up extra beds, cots and guest equipment; assist with turndown service.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas and guest facilities; respond to guest requests.
