Job summary

Cheltenham Borough Council is seeking an Estate Operative to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service in CBC managed sheltered schemes and blocks of flats. You will remove fly tipping, maintain cleanliness of communal land, and ensure safety by reporting fire risks.

Responsibilities

• Clean communal areas of CBC managed sheltered schemes and blocks of flats to a high standard.
• Report and remove waste and belongings from communal areas that pose a fire risk.
• Test monthly communal emergency lighting in blocks of flats.
• Work with CBC teams and contractors to maintain safe and clean communal areas for the public.
