An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estate Manager to oversee the smooth running of a 2,000-acre private estate in Shropshire, comprising arable land, forestry, and livestock.

Our client is seeking a highly capable individual with the depth of knowledge and proven experience required to manage a complex, diverse estate with confidence and vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations across arable, forestry, and livestock enterprises.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, regulation, and health & safety standards.
  • Manage estate finances, including accounts, budgets and grants/subsidies.
  • Lead, manage and support estate staff and contractors, fostering a positive working culture.
  • HR duties.
  • Deliver effective administration and office management.
  • Develop and implement projects, including regenerative and experimental farming initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local councils and the wider community.
  • Promote an ecological and sustainable ethos throughout the estate.
