Position: Estate Manager

Location: Caspian Wharf, London, E3 3AE

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 0800 – 1700

Salary: up to £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Development Details

This role will be based at a development located in Bow, consisting of 660 residential units. This developments benefits from several amenities such as, landscaped gardens and secure underground parking. Close by transport includes Devons Road and Bromley-By-Bow underground station

Key Responsibilities And Requirements

As an Estate Manager at Rendall & Rittner, you will:

  • You will be an experienced, well rounded residential estate manager with strong technical knowledge and understanding of Facilities Management.
  • You have a track record in managing large and complex schemes, taking a hands-on role with the ability to lead, develop and inspire a team.
  • You have a strong health and safety background, ensuring statutory compliance and keeping up to date with the changing legislation.
  • You have experience conducting site inspections, ensuring Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and having a good working knowledge in building maintenance systems.
  • You have experience managing staff and relevant employment related issues.
  • You are an expert in leasehold legislation and managing client relationships with the ability to utilise your knowledge, adapt your communication skills and take a proactive, tailored approach.
  • You are a multi-tasker with the ability to manage large and busy operations, managing contracts, M&E and various service providers.
  • You have managed a variety of major works or CAPEX projects and have a good understanding of the section 20 processes as well as managing projects from start to completion.
  • You’ll have managed budgets and overall expenditure for a residential development, working closely with the Property Managers.
  • You’ll already have some brilliant experiences behind you in relation to delivering great customer service – second to none service - taking a proactive approach to delivering exceptional customer service, anticipating resident needs and wants, adding value to the estate and managing complaints.
  • Ideally you would have achieved TPI associate/membership. Any additional qualifications such as NEBOSH, RICS, will also be beneficial.
