General Manager - Prestigious Residential Development

Location: London, SW3

Salary: £50,000-£60,000pa depending on experience

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of a residential development. This role requires a proactive, highly organised individual with strong leadership skills to manage daily operations, ensure compliance, and provide exceptional service to residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for residents, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth site operations.
  • Lead and manage an onsite team, fostering a high standard of service and professionalism.
  • Oversee maintenance, health & safety compliance, and contractor performance.
  • Process supplier invoices, and track financial activities.
  • Maintain a strong sense of pride in the development, ensuring it remains well-presented and efficiently run.
  • Monitor resident needs, handle inquiries, and address any complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to leasehold obligations and support the managing agent in maintaining compliance.
  • Respond to urgent matters and emergencies, liaising with relevant services when required.

About You

  • Previous experience in a General Manager, Estate Manager, or similar role within residential settings.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of property management, health & safety, and compliance regulations.
  • Confident communicator with a professional and customer-focused approach.
