Position: Estate Manager

Location: Landmark Pinnacle, London, E14 9GU

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 0900 - 1730

Salary: £80,000 - £85,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Development Details:

The role will be based at a prestigious development in Canary Wharf. The development consists of 162 serviced apartments, 70 shared ownership apartments, 752 private apartments and 1 commercial unit, totalling 985. The apartments are spread over 75 floors making it one of the tallest residential towers in Canary Wharf. The development also benefits from a car park, gardens and further amenity spaces including a gym, a cinema, a media room and private residents' lounge. The development is a short walk from either Heron's Quay or South Quay DLR stations, with Canary Wharf also close by.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

As an Estate Manager at Rendall & Rittner:

  • You have a demonstrable track record in managing large and complex residential estates, working to very high standards and taking a hands-on approach with the ability to lead, develop and inspire a team. No task is too big to small, you are happy to support the team as required.
  • You have managed estates with various plant rooms / energy centres and will have a good understanding of M&E.
  • You have experience in conducting site inspections, ensuring statutory compliance and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to.
  • You have managed large contracts across soft and hard services, such as M&E and landscaping.
  • You are a strong communicator, knowledgeable on leasehold legislation and will be able to go back to clients, residents and your stakeholders in a timely manner, addressing any queries or concerns.
  • You have experience managing onsite CAPEX /Major works projects. You have high level contractor management experience, ensuring quality and performance against targets.
  • Customer service is at the heart of everything you do. You build and maintain strong relationships with your stakeholders.
  • You have experience managing staff and relevant employment related issues. From a strategic perspective, you can look at staffing structures, recruitment planning, training and onboarding as well as reviewing and putting in place staffing manuals, SOP's etc.
  • You are always looking for opportunities to drive the performance of the development and contribute to amazing results.
  • You are a leader who values their team, so you support them, work together, build strong working relationships with residents, guests and external contractors, ultimately supporting a strong unified working environment.
  • Ideally achieved TPI associate/membership and any other supporting qualifications such as NEBOSH.
