Oadby and Wigston Borough Council is seeking an Estate Caretaker to join the Estates Housing Team. The role covers minor repairs, block inspections, fire alarm testing, fly-tip removal, and active engagement with tenants and leaseholders.

A DBS check is required before appointment and flexible working arrangements may be discussed during selection. The position is permanent and full-time, with a generous local government pension scheme, holiday entitlement, flexi-time, and agile working options

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance or caretaking advantageous.
