Job summary

Chadwick Nott seeks a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its Estates Team in Teignmouth. The role handles estate administration for executors and beneficiaries, with a focus on delivering clear, compassionate advice.

You will manage a varied caseload, draft Wills and LPAs, attend clients, and mentor junior colleagues while contributing to the team’s strong local reputation and ongoing Wealth Management work.

Qualifications

• 3 years PQE or more, flexible for strong candidates.
• Experience administering estates from start to finish.
• Ability to draft Wills and LPAs.
• Excellent client service and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage own estate administration caseload with supervision.
• Handle IHT reporting, grants of representation, estate accounts and distributions.
• Draft Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Meet clients in office or at their homes and build client relationships.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management team on trusts and tax matters.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the team’s reputation.
