**The Opportunity:**

As the Global Medical Affairs Lead Region at Astellas Pharma, you will play a key role in shaping medical strategies by integrating regional insights into our global initiatives. Your work will directly impact patient care and advance healthcare worldwide.

**Hybrid Working:**

We offer flexible work arrangements, allowing you to balance home and office work, with a minimum of one day per month in our UK office in Addlestone.

**Key Activities:**

  1. Co-lead the Regional Brand Team, aligning with global strategies.
  2. Represent the region in Global Cocreation Team (GCT) and Core Medical Team (CMT) forums.
  3. Provide regional insights to global teams, addressing local needs.
  4. Collaborate to create and execute the Core Medical Plan (CMP) and Integrated Global Brand Plan (iGBP).
  5. Build relationships with regional experts to gather scientific insights.

**Essential Knowledge & Experience:**

  • Extensive experience in medical affairs, safety, or clinical development.
  • Strong therapeutic area knowledge and understanding of disease states.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven success in developing patient-centered medical strategies.

**Preferred Experience:**

  • Experience across multiple cultures and healthcare environments.
  • Familiarity with global regulatory and compliance guidelines.

**Qualifications:**

  • Medical degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent).

**Additional Information:**

  • Permanent, full-time position based in UK (Addlestone).
  • Must be within commuting distance of the office.
