FASHION PERSONNEL is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer for an interim role in Greater London. You will lead the end-to-end buying process for a key product area, partner with design, merchandising and supply chain, and drive commercial performance.

The ideal candidate has proven buyer experience, a strong commercial mindset, and excellent analytical skills with Excel. You will negotiate with suppliers and mentor junior team members in a fast-paced, brand-focused environment.

• Proven experience as an established buyer or senior buyer.
• Strong commercial acumen with profitable ranges.
• Highly analytical with Excel and data interpretation skills.
• Confident negotiating with suppliers and managing key stakeholder relationships.
• Strong understanding of the full product development and buying cycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the seasonal buying strategy for your category in line with business objectives.
• Build balanced ranges that reflect customer demand and market trends.
• Analyse sales, margins, and stock performance to identify opportunities.
• Lead supplier negotiations to achieve target margins, costs, and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with merchandising and planning teams to manage OTB, stock flow, and range performance.
• Work cross-functionally with design, technical, and supply chain teams through the product lifecycle.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to keep the range relevant.
• Support and mentor junior team members where required.

A leading international fashion and lifestyle brand is seeking an experienced stablished buyer / senior buyer to join their team on an interim basis. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a key product area within a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment, working with a brand known for its strong product identity, global presence, and customer-focused approach.

The Role:

As an established buyer / senior buyer, you will be responsible for driving the commercial performance of your category, leading the end-to-end buying process from strategy through to execution. Working closely with design, merchandising, and supply chain teams, you will ensure the range delivers on both brand vision and commercial objectives.
