Do you want to help and be a part of making a real difference to the communities of Essex?

As a PCSO, you'll work closely with communities to promote community safety and confidence. You will collaborate with police officers, special constables, and partner agencies. Your role involves actively seeking information and intelligence related to criminal activity and vulnerabilities in the communities you serve.

Joining Essex Police as a PCSO, you'll receive a starting salary of £26,106 with annual increments up to £31,293. Full-time contracts include a 37-hour workweek, with a 6 on 3 off shift pattern of early and late shifts from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, 7 days a week. A 12.5% shift allowance and weekend working enhancements are payable.
