Job summary

Morthyng Group Limited is seeking an experienced Essential Skills Tutor to work with learners aged 16-19 on study programmes in Warrington. The role focuses on engaging, motivating and delivering Pearson BTEC qualifications, helping disadvantaged learners progress.

The successful candidate will bring strong subject knowledge, organisational skills and the ability to use innovative teaching resources. This is a full-time position with safeguarding responsibilities and a commitment to learner

Qualifications

• Good presentation, organisational, planning and time management skills.
• Strong command of subject matter with recent experience in occupational area.
• Experience delivering Pearson BTEC Qualifications to learners aged 16-19.
• Vocational qualification at level 3 or proven experience.
• English & Maths Level 2 or above.
• High level of written and oral communication skills.
• Student centred in approach to teaching and learning.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Tutor to work with young people aged 16 - 19 on our study programmes in Warrington. This is an opportunity to use your skills and experience to work with young people facing some of the greatest challenges. You will have the ability to motivate, engage, and use innovative teaching resources and have a proven track record of working with disadvantaged learners and experience in delivering Pearson BTEC Qualifications.

What you need:

• Good presentation, organisational, planning and time management skills
• Strong command of subject matter with recent experience in occupational area
• Experience and related knowledge of teaching young people aged 16-19
• Vocational qualification at level 3 or proven experience
• English & Mathematics Level 2 or above
