English Language Instructor

• Job Type: Part-time
• Hours: Mon: 10am to 1pm and Tue/Thu: 10am to 12:30pm
• Location: London
• Salary: £23 - £32 per hour

We are seeking English Language Instructors to deliver engaging and practical English language courses in London. These positions are ideal for educators who are passionate about helping learners build confidence in using English in everyday situations and developing literacy skills among new English speakers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face sessions focusing on practical English usage in everyday life in London.
• Cover essential topics such as daily routines, transport, health, shopping, and local area life for the Everyday English course.
• For the ESOL Literacy - Pre-entry course, focus on teaching basic vocabulary and grammar, and provide insights into life in the UK.
• Engage with students to enhance their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
• Manage class sizes ranging from 6 to 12 students, ensuring personalized attention and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
• Design and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of learners at different proficiency levels.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of the challenges faced by learners new to English and those developing literacy skills.
• Ability to create and deliver engaging, practical lesson content.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Qualifications in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), or CELTA
