Job summary

Choice Teachers is seeking an enthusiastic ESOL Lecturer to join a college in St Albans, starting as soon as possible. The role is long-term/ongoing with potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Lecturer will plan and deliver ESOL lessons, help learners develop speaking, listening, reading and writing, and support progress toward qualifications. Experience in UK college ESOL/English is essential.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated ESOL Lecturer to join a college in St Albans, starting as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced ESOL teacher or lecturer who is passionate about supporting learners from a wide range of backgrounds to develop their English language skills and achieve their educational and career goals.

The role is initially long-term and ongoing, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

As an ESOL Lecturer, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging ESOL lessons to learners of varying abilities.
• Develop students' speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
• Support learners with grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and communication.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs.

• Support learners working towards relevant qualifications and assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress and achievement.

Relevant teaching qualifications and Further Education/college experience would be highly desirable.
