A leading educational institution is seeking an enthusiastic ESOL Lecturer to deliver engaging lessons to adult learners and 16-18 year old students. College location: John Ruskin College (Selsdon) and East Surrey College (Redhill)
Salary: £30,760 - £40,113 pro rata (subject to qualifications, skills, and experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30-17:00
Start Date: 25th August 2025
We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiasticESOL and KS4 Lecturerto join ourMaths, English, Teacher Training & ESOLdepartment to work across both Colleges.
In this rewarding post you will be delivering teaching onKS4 ESOL entry 1 and 2, Entry 3 and Level 1 ESOL to adult and 16-18 year old learner.
Working closely with the Director of Learning and the rest of the team, you will have the chance to share your knowledge and skills with students to help them achieve at the highest level as well as driving continuous improvement within the College. In particular, you will have a strong focus on delivering innovative and student led learning.
You will be responsible for acting as a personal tutor, promoting and tracking attendance, participating in team meetings and contributing to the planning, development and review activities within your subject area. You will also support with preparing for EQA visits and promote enrolment in line with targets for the ESOL provision.
