Warwickshire Police in Leek Wootton seeks an ESN Coverage Analyst on a fixed-term 12-month full-time contract to survey and review ESN coverage across Warwickshire and the region, ensuring assurance ahead of the ESN transition.

The role involves practical testing in buildings and outdoors, road-network surveys, data interpretation, and collaboration with regional police, fire, and ambulance colleagues. Regular travel within the West Midlands is expected.

Formación

• Educated to Level 3 standard qualification (A Level, NVQ or equivalent).
• Good understanding of mobile technology and differences between 4G and legacy emergency networks.
• Understanding policing operational requirements and current communication methods.
• Proven ability to work alone, manage time and prioritise work.

Responsabilidades

• Understand ESN coverage requirements, developments and interdependencies.
• Carry out in-building and outdoor coverage testing and surveys using approved devices.
• Carry out road network testing and surveys with test devices in vehicle.
• Interpret data and reports to plan coverage activity and maintain records.
• Identify and highlight coverage areas of concern.
• Represent Warwickshire Police on the Regional Coverage Team with regional colleagues.
• Maintain relationships with key coverage stakeholders and suppliers.
• Support ESN delivery programme and Warwickshire Police change programme.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations.
