Job summary

Centrica is seeking a Sustainability Transformation Manager to lead CSRD/CSDDD compliance and ESG programme delivery. You will coordinate data capture, drive reporting automation, and align ESG targets with regulations across the group.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, 3+ years in ESG programmes, and deep knowledge of CSRD/EU Taxonomy. A robust PM approach and leadership in a matrix organisation are essential.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of CSRD, EU Taxonomy and CSDDD.
• Minimum 3 years delivering large ESG projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data interpretation.
• Experience in ESG data collection, KPIs and disclosures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Leadership in a matrix organisation and cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement CSRD/CSDDD compliance programmes across the group.
• Coordinate data capture and implement new data systems for CSRD workstreams.
• Drive ESG reporting transformation with automation and systems integration.
• Establish ESG policies, goals and targets in line with regulations.
• Lead project governance, milestones and reporting to Exec Steer Co.
• Collaborate with Finance for external assurance readiness.
• Monitor regulatory changes with Legal and advise on best practices.
• Work with peers and functions to embed ESG in operations.
