Job summary

FirstPort in the United Kingdom is seeking an ESG Manager to translate ambitious sustainability goals into actionable plans and embed ESG practices across the division. You will act as a trusted advisor to leadership, driving climate, environmental and social value initiatives.

The role leads ESG priorities, KPIs and reporting, supports bids and client engagement, and promotes awareness and capability-building across teams to advance FirstPort's governance and broader sustainability agenda.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (e.g., environmental science, sustainability, or similar)
• Professional membership or certification (e.g., ISEP) relevant ESG or sustainability qualification is desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of ESG priorities and goals within the division
• Identify environmental and social impacts, risks and opportunities, and support mitigation or value creation
• Drive integration of ESG considerations into operational processes, governance and decision-making
• Monitor, manage and report on ESG performance
• Deliver ESG initiatives that improve environmental performance and social impact
• Provide ESG expertise to support commercial activities, including bids and client engagement as needed
• Promote awareness, engagement and capability-building across the division
